Dr. Franz Rudolf Kunz

Evonik Technology & Infrastructure GmbH

born 1958, studied chemistry and was awarded a diploma in chemistry and a doctorate by the Universität des Saarlandes (Saarbrücken) in the subject areas chemistry, pharmacology and biological chemistry. In 1988, he joined the analytical department of the research organic chemistry of the then Degussa AG, and intensively researched analytical and preparatory liquid chromatography separation processes for organic substances. For the last 9 years he has lead this working group of 40 employees at the AQura GmbH, the analytical centre of competence of Evonik Industries. Focal points of his work are chromatography and organic analytics within the framework of quality control of pharmaceutical active ingredients in development and production.
